On arrival at the port of Koh Samui, disembark and meet your guide. Drive to Wat Khunaram, home to the mummified body of a monk named Luang Phaw Daeng, preserved sitting in a meditative pose with few signs of any major decay. Stop for refreshments at the impressive Na Muang 1 Waterfall which cascades 18m (59ft) into a natural pool below. Next, visit the Grandma and Grandpa rock formations before enjoying a Thai set lunch at a local restaurant. Explore the house and learn about the history of the Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company and its founder, James H.W. Thompson. The American entrepreneur and architect played an important role in reviving the dying silk industry and the company continues to produce some of the finest examples of Thai silk today.
